Know the product form

Specify whether you need seamless pipe, welded pipe, tube, elbows, tees, reducers, caps or a complete matched piping package.

State Nickel 200 or Nickel 201

The two grades are related but not identical. Do not leave the grade open when the project specification already defines it.

Provide the governing standard

A complete inquiry should include the required product standard, dimensions, schedule or wall thickness, end preparation and quantity.

Ask for component matching

When purchasing pipe and fittings together, confirm compatible dimensions, wall thicknesses and connection geometry to reduce field-fit problems.
